Life is Short

I know what it means to live in this world without any purpose except working for my next paycheck and checking off things on my bucket list before death takes me someday. Have you wondered what it would profit you to gain all the social status, wealth, and toys you ever wanted? Have you considered the brevity of your life? Most importantly, have you asked yourself, "if I died tonight, where would I go?"

Sin has Consequences

Have you noticed how you feel after you lie, or omit the truth, or waste time on the phone at work? How about when you put your partner first when tempted by another? There is an inner voice that either accuses or excuses you based on your actions. That little thing is called a 'conscience' that God gave you to guide you in making moral decisions and judgments. The Bible teaches us that our conscience can become dulled and hardened through sin. Though you can enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time, it has far-reaching and devastating consequences in this lifetime and after.

Time is Fleeing

It was just yesterday that I was playing hide-and-seek in my hood with my buddies. Now, I don't do that anymore. I also knew most of my family members, and friends' phone numbers by heart. Now I hardly remember my phone number. What's happening? I am getting old. Technology is advancing and I can't keep up with it either. I don't have the same energy that I used to have when I was in my early 20s. And, I know I am not going to live past 120 years. I can tell you that!

Hell is Real

In contrast to popular opinion, there are no parties in Hell and the devil, his minions, and unrepentant sinners will be tormented there for eternity. Once you die as a sinner, there will be no more second chances given and you will be kept in hell until you are called to stand before the Supreme Judge of the universe to give an account of your life. And there is no purgatory. You don't want to end up in there because it is where your nightmare comes true. So, If you find pleasure in sin and continue to disrespect God, the lake of fire will be your prison.

5.

Jesus Christ is the Only Way to Heaven

God came down from Heaven in the form of a human being to pay the penalty that we deserve for our sins. Jesus died on the cross as if He was a criminal. His body was placed in a tomb and it was heavily guarded by Roman soldiers. But on the third day, He rose back to life. After 40 days, He ascended to heaven and He sat down on His throne next to His Father.

His resurrection means that now He is our highway to Heaven.

You Must Respond

Repent of Your Sins & Turn to Jesus

"Now God commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to Him. For He has set a day for judging the world with justice by the Man He has appointed, and He proved to everyone who this is by raising Jesus Christ from the dead." (see Acts 17)
